The Council of Ministers has approved, through Resolution No. 299 of June 15, regulations governing the creation and maintenance of a registry of feed and feed additive producers.
In April this year, a decree was signed mandating the establishment of the registry. The activities of producers not included in it will be considered illegal.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food will maintain the registry. To be included, feed and feed additive producers will be required to submit a list of technological equipment, a local legal act regulating production, an internal audit report confirming compliance of products with technical regulation requirements, and declarations of conformity with technical regulation requirements.
The regulations define the list of information to be included in the registry, as well as the procedure for making amendments to it.
