Russia Ratifies Protocol on Military-Technical Cooperation With Belarus

Russia has completed the ratification process for the protocol amending the Treaty Between the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation on the Development of Military-Technical Cooperation of Dec. 10, 2009. The corresponding law was signed by Vladimir Putin.

The document was published on Russia’s official legal information portal.

Belarus ratified the protocol on June 26 this year.

The protocol introduces amendments to the treaty aimed at increasing the number of authorized organizations responsible for its implementation and simplifying procedures for the supply of assemblies, components and spare parts.

The Belarusian side has said the document will allow a larger number of Belarusian organizations to procure military products from Russia more efficiently.
