Forestry Ministry Sets Prices for Wood Fuel Chips

The Ministry of Forestry has set prices for wood fuel chips. The ministry received the authority to regulate these prices at the end of May this year.

Today, the National Legal Internet Portal published a resolution of the Ministry of Forestry, No. 11 of June 9. It enters into force upon publication.

Fixed prices have been established for wood fuel chips produced by organizations subordinate to the ministry when sold to organizations within the systems of the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services and the Ministry of Energy engaged in heat energy production.

The prices will be as follows (excluding VAT):

• 30 Belarusian rubles per solid cubic meter ex works at the producer’s warehouse,
• 35 Belarusian rubles per solid cubic meter delivered to the buyer’s warehouse (distance up to 70 km),
• 40 Belarusian rubles per solid cubic meter delivered to the buyer’s warehouse (distance exceeding 70 km).
