Belarus’s Education Ministry has approved a list of events whose winners will be eligible for awards from the presidential special fund for the social support of gifted pupils and students in 2026. The decision, adopted by Resolution No. 59 of March 3, was published today on the National Legal Internet Portal.
In total, the list includes 50 events. Along with national and international subject Olympiads and tournaments for young mathematicians, physicists and scientists, the following competitions were included:
- The national competition “Student of the Year.”
- The national youth project “100 Ideas for Belarus.”
- The national technical creativity competition for young people “Engineers of the Future.”
- The International Festival of Engineering, Science and Technology “I-FEST² 2026” (Tunisia).
- The World Invention Competition and Exhibition (WICE) (Malaysia).
- The International Science and Invention Fair (ISIF) 2026 for student environmental projects (Indonesia).
- The RobotChallenge World Championship 2026 (China).
- A festival of unmanned aerial vehicles (Russia).
- The International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (IOAI) (United Arab Emirates).
- The Artificial Intelligence in Aviation Competition (Turkey).
- The Russian Open Youth Water Competition – 2026 (Russia).
- The Belarus–Russia Young Ecologists Gathering “Ecology Without Borders.”
- The national scientific and technical creativity competition “TechnoIntellect.”
- The national professional skills competition.
- The team programming championship among higher education institutions of the Republic of Belarus.
- The 50th final of the International Collegiate Programming Contest.
- The International Scientific Forum-Competition for students and young researchers “Current Problems of Subsoil Use.”
