Participants in the comprehensive exercise involving the Western Operational Command have begun carrying out training and combat tasks, the Ministry of Defence reported. Units are engaged in engineering preparations of concentration areas.
“Engineering troops are installing non-explosive obstacles, including tetrahedrons — the so-called ‘dragon’s teeth’. Each reinforced concrete structure weighs more than one tonne and stands over one metre high,” the ministry said.
It added that standard engineering equipment is being used and that the experience of modern conflicts is being taken into account.
