Death Toll In Kyiv Following Russian Strike Rises To Five

Rescuers in Kyiv have recovered the bodies of five people from beneath the rubble of an apartment block entrance destroyed in a Russian missile strike. The State Emergency Service reported the update.

Overall, 39 people were injured in Kyiv following the massive overnight attack, while 28 people were rescued.

Another 20 people are listed as missing.

It should be recalled that overnight Russia launched more than 700 weapons against Ukraine, including drones and missiles. The main strike targeted Kyiv and the surrounding region.

In the village of Chabany in the Kyiv region, a missile warhead struck an apartment on the ground floor of a multi-storey residential building. It did not detonate. The State Emergency Service managed to safely remove the warhead.
