NATO Fighters Shoot Down Drone In Latvia

NATO fighter jets shot down a drone in Latvia’s Balvi Municipality overnight.

According to LSM, citing Iveta Bērziņa, a representative of the Joint Staff of the National Armed Forces, the drone was shot down at a high altitude, so its debris may be scattered over a large area. The area is being surveyed.

An air raid alert was declared in five regions of Latvia overnight.

The drone was flying deeper into Latvian territory. Its trajectory may have been altered.

It should be noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched an attack on Russia’s Leningrad Region overnight.
