A Belarusian volunteer requires assistance for medical treatment and basic expenses. After returning to civilian life, he found himself in a difficult situation: a broken arm, lack of housing, and inability to work.

The Belarusian went to Ukraine in 2022, where he served in the International Legion and the 79th Air Assault Brigade.

After returning to civilian life, his health problems, which had first appeared during his service, worsened. Recently, he suffered a broken arm, was left without housing, and temporarily lost the ability to work.

“At the time of my injury, I did not have valid medical insurance in Poland — my document had expired, and a new one, despite обращения в ужонд, was not issued on time. As a result, I was denied services under the NFZ. By that time, my refugee status insurance had also expired. I had to pay for all medical expenses myself.

In addition, after participating in combat operations, I developed health problems related to my kidneys, so it is important for me to stay in a warm place and be able to undergo the necessary rehabilitation. Due to the fracture of my working arm, I am temporarily unable to earn money and cover basic expenses,” the Belarusian explains.

The BYSOL foundation has opened a fundraiser to provide assistance. The target amount is 2,000 euros. The funds will be used for fracture treatment, medication, food, and housing rent.
