Belarusian Railways to Adjust Train Schedule on the Minsk–Orsha Line in August

Belarusian Railways has warned passengers about temporary changes to train schedules on the Minsk–Orsha line. The restrictions are related to repair and construction work and will be introduced in two phases: from Aug. 10 to 13 and from Aug. 17 to 20, 2026.

During these periods, some interregional and regional business- and economy-class trains will operate on revised schedules and routes. Some services will be temporarily suspended.

In particular, Train No. 704 Minsk–Vitsyebsk will depart from Minsk-Passenger station at 12:25 p.m. and arrive in Vitsyebsk at 4:05 p.m. Train No. 866 Minsk–Orsha will depart the capital at 4:08 p.m. and arrive at Orsha-Tsentralnaya station at 6:28 p.m. The return service, Train No. 865 Orsha–Minsk, will depart at 7:20 p.m. and arrive in Minsk at 10:03 p.m.

In addition, on Aug. 10 and 17, regional economy-class Train No. 6027 operating on the Barysau–Instytut Kultury route will run only as far as Minsk-East station.

Train schedules for regional economy-class services on the Minsk–Barysau–Orsha section will also be adjusted during the works. Some services will be canceled entirely.

Belarusian Railways recommends that passengers check the updated timetable in advance and take the changes into account when planning their journeys.
