In 2026–30, 1.26 billion rubles will be allocated for the development of military towns under a sectoral state program, including 1.085 billion rubles from the state investment program. A resolution of the Council of Ministers No. 817 dated December 31 approving the state program “Development of Military Towns” for the next five years was published today on the National Legal Internet Portal.
Over the next five years, it is planned to carry out reconstruction, modernization and major repairs at nine facilities in military towns, renovate 40 facilities, and build three new facilities.
According to the program, work is planned to be completed in the military town of the Belarusian Military Academy, as well as the construction of its sports complex. Reconstruction of certain sections of the Losvido training ground is also planned, along with the construction of a military town and a training ground in the Homyel region.
