Belarus Cuts Waiting Time for CT and MRI Scans to 30 Days

From July 1, 2026, Belarus’ state healthcare institutions are introducing a new approach to scheduling non-contrast CT and MRI scans. The waiting time for such examinations will not exceed 30 calendar days, the Health Ministry said.

In emergency cases where there are urgent medical indications, examinations will be carried out on a priority basis without waiting in the regular queue.

The ministry said that patients with questions regarding appointments or waiting times can contact the administration of their outpatient clinic or hospital, or write to the Health Ministry’s Telegram chatbot at @mzbel_bot.
