Belarus and UN Sign Five-Year Sustainable Development Program

Belarus and the United Nations have signed the Cooperation Framework for Sustainable Development for 2026–2030. The document was signed by Foreign Minister Maksim Ryzhankou and UN Resident Coordinator in Belarus Rasul Bagirov.

The Cooperation Framework is aligned with Belarus’s National Sustainable Development Strategy through 2040 and the state program for socio-economic development for 2026–2030. It defines four priorities:

  • human development and well-being for all;
  • inclusive and sustainable economic transformation;
  • a clean environment to support people’s livelihoods;
  • institutional foundations for peace and development.
