Lithuanian border guards intercepted another drone carrying cigarettes that had crossed from Belarus.
The drone was spotted in the Šalčininkai District on the morning of May 7. It was brought down using anti-drone equipment.
At the crash site, officers found a box containing 850 packs of Minsk Capital QS cigarettes. Their estimated value is 4,683 euros, the Lithuanian State Border Guard Service reported.
Since the beginning of the year, Lithuanian border guards have intercepted 17 cigarette-smuggling drones.
