13 Political Prisoners Pardoned in Belarus

It was claimed that all of them “submitted petitions for a pardon, admitted their guilt, repented their actions and also promised to lead a law-abiding life.”
Accusations of extremism are used in Belarus to prosecute opponents of Lukashenka and to crack down on dissent more broadly.
