Rosselkhoznadzor inspectors barred 100 kg of cooked sausage from Belarus from entering Russia. The batch of meat products was discovered during an inspection of a vehicle at the Russian-Belarusian border in Pskov Region.
According to the agency, the carrier did not have veterinary accompanying documents confirming the origin and safety of the products.
In addition, the sausage was transported without the required temperature conditions — the vehicle had no refrigeration equipment.
The products were prohibited from entering the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union. The sausage was returned to Belarus, and administrative offense reports were drawn up against the owner of the goods.
