Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has responded to words of support posted on X by Belarusian democratic forces leader Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya.
“My thoughts are with the people of Kyiv and all Ukrainians after the massive overnight attack. This Russian terror against civilians, carried out with the assistance of the Lukashenka regime, must be condemned in the strongest possible terms. Ukraine needs greater support. Criminal aggressors must be held accountable,” Tsikhanouskaya wrote.
“Thank you for your support!” the Ukrainian president replied.
As previously reported, Russia launched a massive combined strike on Ukraine during the night of May 24. Kyiv was the main target of the attack. Ukraine’s Air Force recorded 690 aerial attack weapons — 90 missiles and 600 drones of various types. Residential buildings, schools, supermarkets, shopping centers, and non-residential structures were reported damaged. There were civilian casualties.
