Zelenskyy Names Possible Dates For Next Round Of Talks With Russia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the next round of talks in the United States on ending the war with Russia will focus primarily on territorial issues. According to him, Kyiv has accepted Washington’s proposal to hold a new meeting next week, Bloomberg reported.

Zelenskyy said that the next round of talks could take place on Tuesday or Wednesday. At the same time, it remains unclear whether Russia will agree to participate in negotiations on U.S. territory.

Among the items on the agenda is a U.S. proposal to create a free economic zone as a buffer territory in the eastern part of Donbas. According to the Ukrainian leader, both warring sides view this option with caution.
