Website of Polish News Agency PAP Designated as “Extremist Material”

Belarus’ Information Ministry has expanded its list of materials designated as “extremist.”

The website of the Polish state-controlled news agency PAP (Polska Agencja Prasowa) has been added to the list. The Horki District Court of Mahiliou Region ruled on July 28 that the website’s content should be designated as extremist material.

In a separate ruling issued on the same day, the same court also added the website of the Representation for National Revival of the United Transitional Cabinet to the list.

The following resources have also been designated as extremist:

  • the YouTube channel of the Belarusian rock band DZIECIUKI;
  • the YouTube channels harodnia.com and its logo, and “Hordyya Belarusy”;
  • the Instagram accounts “zhyvebelatus”, “airrryn”, “project361.1/”, “happyyybeadsss”, and “bsmrtna” (Podwiga Naroda-Bessmertna);
  • the Telegram channels “Popular Politics”, “Ostryi Ugol”, “Kaliyev channel”, and “Politicise Yourselves with Kavskazsky”;
  • the TikTok accounts “@sashka_1913”, “Iwanow Iwan”, “Belarusian Youth”, “VITAŬT”, and “Prastora ‘Po6iM razam'”;
  • the Instagram and Telegram accounts “Searches for Old Homiel”;
  • the Facebook, Instagram and Telegram resources, as well as the website, of the WYSPA Wolności youth club operating in Poland;
  • the Facebook page “dereviashki_palki”;
  • the Threads accounts “Natalya Gladkikh”, “Swieta Nilla”, “the_tema_bus”, and “Ivan Mashkin 28.08.1993”;
  • the Telegram channels “BChB & KZ Critical Thinking Belarus”, “Ihar Losik”, “Navalny LIVE”, “SerpomPO”, and “Ukrainian Belarusophile”.
