Two Drones Carrying Belarusian Cigarettes Fly Into Lithuania

Lithuanian border guards intercepted two drones carrying cigarettes that had flown in from Belarus.

The unmanned aerial vehicles were detected overnight into Thursday in the Šalčininkai District. They were brought down using anti-drone equipment. Each drone was carrying two boxes containing 500 packs of Queen Menthol cigarettes. The total value of the 2,000 packs of cigarettes is estimated at €10,920.

A pre-trial investigation has been launched, the Lithuanian State Border Guard Service said.
