The Office of Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya reported on today’s telephone conversation with U.S. presidential special envoy John Coale and U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Chris Smith.
The leader of the democratic forces expressed gratitude to U.S. President Donald Trump and his team for helping secure the release of more than 500 political prisoners in Belarus.
“President Trump stated that the goal is to free them all, and I am confident in the success of humanitarian efforts in this direction,” the politician said following the conversation.
