Russia Again Used Belarusian Territory for a Strike on Ukraine

On May 13, Russia launched a large-scale strike on Ukraine, once again using the territory of Belarus and Moldova for the flight of attack drones, the Ukrainian Air Force reported.

“A particular feature of the attack was that the enemy once again used the territory of Belarus and Moldova for the flight of strike UAVs toward Ukraine,” the statement said.

In total over the past 24 hours, Russian forces used more than 892 drones of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and Parodiya imitation drone types. The main direction of the strike targeted the western regions of the country. As of 6:30 p.m., 710 drones had been shot down or suppressed in almost all regions of Ukraine.

Hits by 27 drones were recorded, while debris from downed drones fell at 26 locations. The attack is ongoing.
