The Czech Foreign Ministry has submitted a government proposal to amend visa measures for relatives of Belarusian citizens living in the Czech Republic.
“The proposal expands the possibility of applying for short-term visas for family visits for close relatives of Czech citizens, as well as Belarusians with long-term or permanent residence permits in the Czech Republic. We hope the proposal will be approved and will help preserve key human and family ties,” the representative office of Belarusian democratic forces in the Czech Republic said.
It should be recalled that the issue was discussed at a meeting between Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya and Czech Foreign Minister Petr Macinka.
