Belarus has banned the import and sale of products from the Russian company “Sashera-Med.” The corresponding resolution was signed on March 12 by the deputy minister and Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Belarus.
“The decision was based on repeated findings of non-compliance of food products with the requirements of the Customs Union technical regulations ‘On Food Safety’ (TR CU 021/2011) and ‘Food Products in Terms of Labeling’ (TR CU 022/2011),” the Minsk City Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology reported.
“Sashera-Med” presents itself as a manufacturer of “natural cosmetics and Altai products” based on deer antlers of the Altai maral, beaver castoreum, stone oil, mumiyo, and medicinal plants.
