Ryzhankou Discusses Schedule of Leadership-Level Contacts With Chinese Ambassador

Belarusian Foreign Minister Maksim Ryzhankou met with Chinese Ambassador Zhang Wenchuan.

The meeting focused on bilateral and international agendas. The sides discussed the schedule of contacts at the level of the countries’ leadership in 2026. Cooperation within international organisations was also addressed.

Ryzhankou reaffirmed Belarus’s commitment to the one-China principle and expressed support for the efforts of the Chinese government to protect national sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The sides stressed their readiness “to strictly implement all agreements reached by the leaders of Belarus and China on strengthening political interaction, expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation, and developing industrial and technological cooperation.”
