Medical services in Vitsyebsk have switched to an enhanced operating mode during the Slavianski Bazaar in Vitsyebsk festival. The measures will remain in effect from July 14 to 20.
The Health Ministry said 24 ambulance crews would be on duty at mass event venues during the festival.
Four crews will be stationed near the Summer Amphitheatre and another five near the Vitsyebsk Regional Clinical Diagnostic Centre. Additional crews will be deployed at Freedom Square, Victory Square, the Vitsyebsk Central Sports Complex, the Yakub Kolas Theatre, as well as near the Vitsyebsk Concert Hall, the festival directorate, the Zadvinne City of Crafts and at the intersection of Savetskaya and Lenina streets.
In addition, festival participants and guests will be able to receive round-the-clock outpatient medical care at several medical facilities in Vitsyebsk, including city polyclinics, the regional diagnostic centre, the emergency hospital, the children’s clinical centre and the regional dental centre.
