Russian Artists Under Ukrainian Sanctions to Perform at Viva Braslav Summer Festival

The organizers of the Viva Braslav festival have announced the lineup, which includes Belarusian performer LYRIQ and Russian artists Dima Bilan, MOT, Vanya Dmitrienko, as well as the bands “Komnata Kultury” and “Davai na Ty.”

Some of the participants support the war in Ukraine. Dima Bilan was added to the database of the Ukrainian Myrotvorets Center for visiting occupied Crimea, while Canada included him in its 2023 list of “Russian disinformation agents” for spreading propaganda.

Artist MOT (Matvei Melnikov) is also listed in the Myrotvorets database. He participated in propaganda events in occupied Crimea. In October 2022, MOT was placed under Ukrainian sanctions for supporting Russian aggression.

The Viva Braslav festival will take place at the Braslau Lakes from July 24 to July 26.
