Head of Belarusian Community in Ukraine Frantskevich Banned From Entering Poland

Aliaksei Frantskevich, head of the public association “Biloruska Spilnota Ukrainy” (Belarusian Community of Ukraine), has been denied entry to Poland. He was attempting to enter the country from Ukraine.

“I was not allowed into Poland. They have not yet explained the reason, and I am waiting for an explanation,” Frantskevich wrote on Facebook. He later clarified that he had been banned from entering Poland for 10 years.

Frantskevich was traveling to Warsaw to take part in the New Belarus Conference.

Aliaksei Frantskevich is a Belarusian activist living in Ukraine, the founder of the Ukrainian charitable foundation Vilna Bilorus and the head of the public association “Biloruska Spilnota Ukrainy.”
