Belarus Ratifies Amendments to Military-Technical Cooperation Agreement With Russia

On June 26, Aliaksandr Lukashenka signed the law “On the Ratification of the Protocol on Amendments to the Agreement Between the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation on the Development of Military-Technical Cooperation of Dec. 10, 2009.”

The protocol provides for amendments to the agreement aimed at increasing the number of authorized organizations responsible for its implementation and simplifying the procedures for supplying assemblies, components and spare parts.

Ratification of the protocol will allow a larger number of Belarusian organizations to purchase military products from Russia more quickly, according to Lukashenka’s press service.
