On September 3, tactical drills on coordinated operations to suppress “mass riots” were held in Baranavichy, the Brest Regional Executive Committee’s Internal Affairs Directorate reported.
The training was conducted under the supervision of OMON instructors. Police officers practiced containing groups and detaining offenders.
Similar drills were recently held in Mahiliou and the Vitsebsk and Minsk regions.
