A fire broke out today at the Mahiliou Regional Centre for Psychiatry and Narcology on Nizhniaia Karabanauskaya Street. The building is currently undergoing reconstruction.
Emergency responders arriving at the scene discovered smoke coming from the second floor of the building. It was established that a fire had broken out in one of the rooms. The blaze was extinguished. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
There were no people inside the building at the time of the incident. Seven units of emergency equipment were deployed at the scene.
