Poland’s Border Guard has summarised the first six months since the reopening of the Kuźnica and Bobrowniki border crossings on the Belarusian-Polish border.
During this period, 536,000 people and 202,000 vehicles crossed the border through the two checkpoints.
A total of 272,000 people were processed leaving Poland, while 264,000 entered the country.
About 100,000 vehicles entered Poland, while 102,000 left the country.
On average, 1,560 people cross the border daily at Kuźnica, while 1,387 people pass through Bobrowniki.
During the operation of the checkpoints, border guards denied entry to 166 travellers.
