Number of Belarusians Registered in Polish Social Insurance System Rises in September

Poland’s Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) has published data on insured foreign nationals as of the end of September 2025, showing an increase in the number of Belarusians.

By the end of September, 137,159 citizens of Belarus were registered in Poland’s social insurance system. Compared with August, the number of Belarusians rose by 785.

In total, 1.267 million foreign nationals were registered with ZUS. The overall number of insured foreigners increased by more than 10,000 compared with August.

Ukrainian citizens remain the largest group of foreign workers in Poland, with almost 839,000 registered (+12,700 from August). Belarusians rank second, followed by citizens of Georgia, with nearly 26,400 registered.
