A new criminal case has been opened against former political prisoner Mikola Dziadok. His relatives are being summoned for questioning. The activist wrote about this on Facebook.
“My relatives were informed that a new criminal case has been opened against me. Allegedly for ‘extremist’ publications or statements. For some reason, this is happening in Vitsyebsk. My parents are being dragged in for interrogations,” Mikola wrote.
Dziadok is an activist of the anarchist movement. He was detained in November 2020 and sentenced to five years in prison. While in the penal colony, a new case was opened against him under an article on malicious disobedience to the administration. Dziadok was released in September 2025 following negotiations between John Coale and Alyaksandr Lukashenka. Together with a group of 52 political prisoners, he was taken to Lithuania.
