NAU Reports 15 Attempts by Belarusian Security Services to Recruit Its Staff

The National Anti-Crisis Management (NAM) says Belarusian security services have made another attempt to recruit one of its employees. According to the organization, the initiator tried to pose as an officer of Ukrainian security services.

On October 23, the District Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw (Military Affairs Division) opened a criminal case under Article 130, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Poland (espionage) over attempts by Belarusian security services to recruit NAM staff and members of the Coordination Council faction “Team Latushka and Movement “For Freedom”.

NAM says that a total of 15 such recruitment attempts have been recorded to date.

“We recommend that Belarusians who are subjected to recruitment attempts by the regime’s security services inform the competent authorities of the country where they reside about such actions. This is important because any contact with representatives of the regime’s security services may be interpreted as cooperation, which entails serious criminal liability.

Belarusians living in Poland can inform the District Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw, Military Affairs Division, where a criminal case has already been opened under Article 130, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Poland, case number 3041-8.Ds.101.2025,” said Pavel Latushka, Deputy Head of the United Transitional Cabinet and Head of NAM.
