A 14-year-old schoolboy was detained in Minsk after dropping water-filled bags from the roof of a high-rise building. Several children sought medical assistance as a result, the Minsk City Police Department reported.
Teenage girls who had been hit by water-filled bags dropped from a height contacted the police. It was established that a ninth-grade student from Minsk was involved. The teenager had filled plastic bags with water in advance and then entered the attic through an unlocked door. The schoolboy admitted that he had not looked down and had not considered that his actions could cause harm to people or property.
The injured children, aged between 11 and 14, received medical assistance. They did not require hospitalization.
A criminal case was opened against the teenager under the article on hooliganism.
In addition, the housing maintenance service was ordered to remedy the violations and install reliable locks preventing access to the attic. Individual preventive work will be carried out with the minor.
