Tax Authorities Make Belarusian Companies Pay an Additional Almost 300 Million Rubles

The Ministry of Taxes and Duties has published the results of desk audits for the first nine months of the year. From January to September, tax authorities sent a total of 15,163 notices to businesses inviting them to voluntarily pay the outstanding tax amounts.

The authorities reported that 87.4% of the notices produced results. A total of 294.7 million rubles in taxes was paid into the budget, while the amount of VAT subject to refund was reduced by 69 million rubles.
