Belarus’ Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade has updated tariffs for passenger, baggage, and cargo-baggage transportation by rail through Resolution No. 28 of April 25. The document was published today on the National Legal Internet Portal and enters into force upon publication.
For example, the tariff for passenger transportation on regional economy-class lines has been increased by 11 kopecks per fare zone. It will now amount to 52 kopecks per zone. The tariff per kilometer of travel also increased proportionally — by 1.1 kopecks to 5.2 kopecks per kilometer.
Tariffs for urban line transportation now range from 2.54 rubles to 6.48 rubles. Previously, they ranged from 2 rubles to 5.1 rubles.
Tariffs for regional business-class lines now range from 5.12 rubles to 168.28 rubles depending on class, distance, and type of train. Previously, they ranged from 4.42 rubles to 145.07 rubles.
The resolution also establishes the cost of travel tickets and reserved-seat tickets for various types of transportation, tariffs and prices for children’s tickets, and other related charges.
Through the same resolution, MART also updated the maximum allowable tariffs for transport terminal services, both railway and road transport terminals.
