Brest to Hold Three “Days of Sobriety” in the Near Future

The Brest City Executive Committee will soon restrict alcohol sales. Decision No. 650 of April 17 was published today on the National Legal Internet Portal.

Alcohol will not be sold in retail stores on:

  • May 23,
  • May 29,
  • from 8 a.m. on June 12 until 8 a.m. on June 13.

Events aimed at preventing alcohol abuse will be held in the city on May 23 and May 29, while school graduation celebrations will take place in the regional center on June 12-13.

The restrictions do not apply to catering establishments or to alcohol sales for weddings and funeral rites. They also will not affect stores located at state border crossing points.
