Lukashenka to Visit Kazakhstan

Aliaksandr Lukashenka will make a working visit to Astana on May 28–29, his press service reported. On May 28, he will speak at the plenary session of the fifth Eurasian Economic Forum, whose main theme is “The EAEU in the Global Digital Race: Betting on Artificial Intelligence”.

“Aliaksandr Lukashenka will present the Belarusian side’s position on technological cooperation within the EAEU and the introduction of artificial intelligence into the real sector of the economy, and will provide examples of domestic experience in this area,” the press release said.

On May 29, a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council will take place, with the agenda including around 20 issues. The summit will be held in narrow and expanded formats. Heads of state will discuss the development of international trade, cooperation with EAEU partners, the use of artificial intelligence, customs legislation issues and the implementation of cooperation projects.
