Lithuania and Latvia Face Migrant Pressure, but Not Poland

Lithuanian and Latvian border guards again recorded a significant number of attempted border crossings by migrants on Monday.

Lithuania’s border service faced 22 attempts, while Latvia’s border service recorded 48 attempted crossings. On Monday, 99 migrants attempted to cross the borders of Lithuania and Latvia from Belarus.

Meanwhile, Poland’s Border Guard did not record a single attempted border crossing during the Easter holiday period from April 3 to April 6.
