Head of Lukashenka’s administration Dzmitry Krutoi met with member of the Standing Committee of the Politburo of the Communist Party of China and Secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection Li Xi during a visit to China.
“During the meeting, the sides confirmed the high level of Belarus-China relations, consistent with the spirit of an all-weather and comprehensive strategic partnership, and discussed current issues on the international and bilateral agenda.
Particular attention was paid to interregional cooperation, sustainable economic development and the implementation of joint projects. The sides expressed readiness to expand cooperation in all areas without exception, as well as to maintain close contacts to implement the agreements reached,” the Belarusian embassy in China said.
It should be noted that this was not the first meeting between Krutoi and Li Xi. In September last year, Li Xi visited Belarus and met with Alyaksandr Lukashenka. The visit took place against the backdrop of Poland closing its border with Belarus. At that time, Krutoi and Li Xi also discussed the experience of China’s “1, 2, 3, 4, 5” system in handling citizens’ appeals.
