Investigators Probe Death of Minsk Resident Found Hanging Outside Apartment Building

On the morning of October 21, a person was found hanging by a rope from the facade of a high-rise apartment building on Lahoyski Trakt in Minsk. The person showed no signs of life.

Investigators identified the deceased as a 23-year-old Minsk resident. He lived alone and had been unemployed for an extended period.

By the time emergency services and the investigative team arrived, the apartment where the young man lived was locked from the inside. The belongings inside the apartment had not been disturbed.

The Investigative Committee is establishing the circumstances of the incident. Neighbours and possible witnesses are being questioned. A forensic medical examination has been ordered.
