Information Ministry Again Expands List of “Extremist Materials”

The Ministry of Information has once again updated its list of “extremist materials”.

The following were added to the list:

• Threads accounts “BELPOL NEWS”, “Pa Pershaye, Ya z Pinska”, “brest_region”, “Ne Luninets, a Luninets”, “Yanovo”,
• TikTok accounts “Poyas Belavezhy”, “rozum.media”,
• the YouTube channel “PARA!/ПАРА!”

In Belarus, accusations of extremism are used to combat opponents of the authorities and to prosecute dissent more broadly.
