In December, Average Salary of Public Sector Workers in Belarus Exceeded 680 Euros

The average nominal accrued salary of public sector workers in December amounted to 2,340.3 roubles before taxes. It increased compared with November by 12.9%, or 267.5 roubles, which was linked to the payment of annual bonuses and so-called thirteenth-month salaries.

The real average salary in the public sector grew by 11.3% in 2025. The data were published by Belstat.

In December, the ratio of salaries in public sector organisations to the national average stood at 75.2%.

The December average salary of public sector workers amounted to:

• in public administration – 3,938 roubles (up 818.3 roubles month on month),
• for teachers – 2,650 roubles (up 112.4 roubles),
• for preschool education teachers – 1,884.2 roubles (up 115.4 roubles),
• for academic teaching staff – 3,636.1 roubles (up 552.4 roubles),
• for doctors – 4,472.1 roubles (up 460.1 roubles),
• for mid-level medical staff – 2,443.8 roubles (up 319 roubles).
