Security Services Attempting to Recruit Coordination Council Representatives, Viasna Says

Belarusian security services are actively attempting to recruit delegates of the Coordination Council, the human rights centre Viasna said.

According to the organisation, over the past few days, members of the “Latushka Coalition and For Freedom Movement” faction have been contacted from several messenger accounts.

Earlier, unknown individuals attempted to contact Coordination Council delegate Mikita Semyanenka. He received messages from unknown accounts registered with Belarusian phone numbers saying there was a “need to talk.”
