Aliaksandr Lukashenka has ordered officials to clear fallen trees from Belavezhskaya Pushcha. He made the remarks during a visit to Brest.
As is customary, Lukashenka travelled to the event by helicopter. Apparently, he was dissatisfied with what he saw from the air.
“Belavezhskaya Pushcha needs to be put in order. Not just along the route where I flew, but throughout the entire forest. There are far too many fallen trees. I am dissatisfied with what is happening in Belavezhskaya Pushcha; it needs to be cleaned up. I cannot personally cut down all the fallen trees, chop them into firewood and so on,” Lukashenka said, according to his press service.
