Heat supply has been restored to all previously disconnected consumers in Vitsyebsk, Vitebskenergo reported.
The damage to a section of the heating network was discovered the day before by specialists from the Vitebsk Heating Networks branch on Maksim Gorky Street. Dozens of residential buildings, kindergartens, and industrial facilities were left without heating and hot water on the night from Friday to Saturday.
Repair work was carried out overnight. The damaged section of the pipeline was dismantled and replaced with a new one. The repair was completed at 08:10.
“At present, the pipeline is being filled with network water, after which heat supply to disconnected consumers will be restored,” the statement said.
