Major General of Justice Eduard Malinouski has been relieved of his duties as head of the Belarusian Investigative Committee’s department for Hrodna Region and discharged from service in the Investigative Committee upon reaching retirement age, with the right to wear the prescribed uniform and insignia.
The corresponding decree was signed by Aliaksandr Lukashenka, according to his press service.
Then still a colonel of justice, Malinouski was appointed head of the Investigative Committee department for Hrodna Region in December 2020. Before that, he served as head of the Department for Analysis of Practice and Methodological Support of Preliminary Investigation at the central office of the Belarusian Investigative Committee.
Malinouski graduated from the Faculty of Law at Belarusian State University. For many years he worked in the prosecutor’s office in various positions related to oversight of preliminary investigations and also served in analytical divisions of Belarus’s Security Council. Since 2012, he had been an employee of the Investigative Committee.
