The government has approved the state program “Sustainable Entrepreneurship” for 2026–2030. The relevant Resolution No. 739 of December 20 was signed by Prime Minister Alyaksandr Turchyn, the Economy Ministry’s press service reported.
The program envisages addressing two objectives:
As part of the first objective, targeted state financial support and lending products are предусмотрены for SMEs from the Development Bank, Belarusbank, Belagroprombank, and Belinvestbank in the most productive and efficient sectors.
It is planned to establish a Center for Entrepreneurship Development on the basis of the Belarusian Fund for Financial Support of Entrepreneurs.
The second objective provides for measures to reduce the administrative burden and to develop the institution of forecasting the consequences of regulatory legal acts in the process of managerial decision-making.
“It is expected that over the period of implementation of the state program, the average annual growth of tax revenues from SMEs will be at least 10 percent, and the share of gross value added generated by SMEs will reach 33 percent by the end of 2030.
The volume of funds allocated for the implementation of the State Program’s measures will exceed 64 billion rubles,” the ministry’s press service said.
