Government Approves Housing Construction Targets for 2026

The Council of Ministers has adopted a resolution On the Construction of Residential Buildings and Related Engineering and Transport Infrastructure in 2026.

According to the government’s press service, the document approves the following targets:

• the construction of housing with state support totaling 238.3 thousand square meters;
• the construction of housing under state orders totaling 407.4 thousand square meters;
• the construction of rental housing totaling 650 thousand square meters;
• the construction of 315 thousand square meters of housing using electric energy for heating, hot water supply, and cooking;
• the provision of housing to large families in accordance with requirements to ensure that large families are directed toward improved housing conditions within one year from the date they are registered as those in need (5,930 families);
• the construction of social-use residential premises totaling 22.9 thousand square meters;
• funding for the construction of housing-related infrastructure amounting to 1.34 billion rubles.
